Jay Yungon Lee is Defense Business Development Director of Thales Korea located in Seoul, Korea and developing Korea defense business domain that serves OEM, Aftermarket, Military, Government agency and commercial helicopter segments. The responsibility and role is all strategic growth initiatives across the country and focus on the growth with strategic planning and customer relationship management. Over 20 years of military business experience in defense market, especially aerospace business in Korea and Asia Pacific region.
Jay Jungon Lee started his career in defense and aerospace domain, Samsung Aerospace (now KAI), LG Innotek (now LIG Nex1) and Honeywell Aerospace with responsibility for Sales/Marketing, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Program Management, Strategic Growth for Korean military platforms as well as various Korean offset programs. The wide of range experiences outlook for Korean defense acquisition process and defense industries knowledge to enhance the sales and growth and the in-depth business relationship with military and aerospace industries in Korea.
For educational background, he graduated Hankuk University of Foreign Studies in Korea. B.S. in Environmental Science/Japanese and graduated Aalto MBA (former Helsinki School of Economics EMBA) and Seoul School of Integrated Sciences & Technologies, aSSIST Master of Business Administration, Intellectual Property and now the Ph. D course in business administration at Seoul School of Integrated Sciences & Technologies, aSSIST, Korea.
Yikon KIMExecutive Vice President
Mr. Yikon KIM is Executive Vice President of Safran Korea since March of 2017, after joining Safran in March of 2015 as a Senior Advisor.
As a key member of Safran Korea, Mr. KIM contributes to the promotion of Safran group and Safran companies in Korea. His understanding of the Korean environment also makes him a real asset to assist in the identification of new Korean partners and cooperation opportunities between Safran and the local industries.
Before retiring as a full Colonel, Mr. KIM began his military service as a Marine Corps officer in 1982. He has extensive experience both as an infantry officer and a military diplomat in U.S.A and the Republic of Philippines. He also served as a planning officer at the Joint Chief of Staff and at the CFC.
Mr. KIM has graduated from Naval Academy of OR and holds a Master degree in International Politics from Kyunggi University.

Man hee SHINDirector of Strategic Planning Team
Man Hee has been working in Korea Aerospace Industries Association (KAIA) for last 27 years. He was awarded 'Honor of Commendation by Prime Minister' for the successful managing of Seoul International Aerospace & Defense Exhibition on 2003.
At present, Man Hee is serving in Strategic Planning Team in KAIA as Director. KAIA is established to pursue common goals of its members, support mutual cooperation of them and contribute to economic growth of Korea.
Younggon KIMSenior Engineer of Avionics R&D Center
Young-gon Kim has many years of experience in developing graphics software for defense and avionics, and is currently working at the Avionics R&D Center of Hanwha Systems.
The Avionics R&D Center develops various avionics devices such as ICS, SMFD, and MC. Young-gon Kim is involved in the development of avionics graphics system, in particular, is responsible for the implementation of ARINC 661 standard that defines cockpit display system interface.

Mr. Matthieu Clermont is heading the Korean subsidiary of Safran Electronics & Defense, a Safran company specialized in avionics, electronics, optronics and defense systems with activities worldwide and a long standing business in Korea. One of his main objectives is to develop win/win partnerships and breed opportunities with Korean companies both for the local and the export markets.
He started as a system engineer for space launchers and missiles systems and then hold different jobs related to design, manufacturing and program management in the field of sensors, missiles, and more generally defense and space programs inside Safran.
Mr. Matthieu Clermont is graduated from Isae Supaero, the French MoD Engineering Institute for Aeronautics & Space, and also holds a Master in Systems Engineering.
